Our Company is a growing contractor specialising in groundworks, demolition, strip-out, landscaping, and general construction works across London and the surrounding areas. Due to continued growth, we are looking for experienced and hardworking Groundworkers / Demolition Operatives to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out demolition and soft strip-out works safely and efficiently
- General groundworks including digging, trenching, breaking out, and reinstatement
- Operate hand and power tools
- Assist machine operators and site supervisors
- Load materials and waste into skips and maintain site cleanliness
- Follow health & safety procedures at all times
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Requirements
- Previous experience in demolition, strip-out, or groundworks essential
- Valid CSCS Card preferred
- Good understanding of site health & safety
- Reliable, punctual, and hard-working
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Driving licence beneficial but not essential
Desirable Experience
- Concrete breaking and removal
- Excavation and drainage works
- Use of disc cutters, breakers, and small plant
- Experience working on commercial and residential projects
