Position: Full-Time | Monday–Friday (with occasional nights out)
JVO Transport Ltd is a growing family run Essex-based haulage company specialising in the safe and professional delivery of blocks, bricks, bags, and construction materials using crane-mounted trailers. As our fleet continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver / HIAB Operator to join the team.
What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering construction materials throughout the UK.
- Operating a lorry-mounted crane (HIAB) safely and efficiently.
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and presentable.
- Providing excellent customer service on site.
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately and on time.
- Representing JVO Transport with professionalism at all times.
- Mostly day work with occasional paid nights out
- 5am-7am starts
- Usually finished 4pm-6pm
Essential Requirements
- Valid UK Class 1 (CE) Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- ALLMI HIAB (Lorry Loader) Certificate preferred – training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Maximum of 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN convictions).
- Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time Regulations.
- Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude.
