At AB Agri, we’re seeking a commercially focused and collaborative Product Manager to guide our Performance Products portfolio within Asterra.
As a senior team member, you will integrate commercial leadership, product strategy, supplier oversight, and team coordination to generate tangible value for the business.
You will manage an established product area while coordinating closer alignment across KW and Advance products—shaping a unified portfolio that delivers consistent value to the company and customers.
The Role
You will:
- Own and deliver the commercial performance of the Advanced Products portfolio.
- Manage and align the KW and Advance product areas into a unified operating model.
- Develop product strategy, including NPD, portfolio optimisation, and pricing.
- Build reliable, strategic supplier partnerships and negotiate commercial terms.
- Lead through others, supporting and coordinating team managers.
- Contribute to key projects including ERP/CRM integrations and product systems.
- Ensure compliance across feed safety, sourcing, and governance standards.
- Support product training and knowledge sharing across the business.
About You
- Experience within the UK dairy industry.
- Experience leading product or commercial teams.
- Depth of understanding in performance products and technical dairy solutions
- The ability to manage, motivate, and align teams across functions.
- Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and margins.
- Demonstrated ability to work with suppliers, stakeholders, and external partners.
- An applied, results-driven approach and the capability to work without direct supervision.
A background in ruminant nutrition or a relevant degree is advantageous, but not essential.
