The Duke of York’s Royal Military School is excited to appoint an enthusiastic and highly organised Admissions Assistant to join its thriving Admissions and Marketing team. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Head of Admissions and Registrar, including diary management and confidential tasks.
- Act as a main contact for prospective families, responding to enquiries by phone, email, WhatsApp, and in person.
- Support families through the admissions process from first enquiry to enrolment, ensuring a positive experience.
- Maintain and update student databases and records accurately, ensuring GDPR compliance.
- Help organise and support admissions and marketing events, such as open mornings and private tours.
- Coordinate communication and processes with internal teams (e.g., boarding, finance, academic, pastoral) for new and existing students.
- Assist with admissions reporting, student transition processes, scholarship applications, and provide team cover when needed.

Further Information:
This role is Term Time plus 7 weeks, including August working to support Results Days and the summer admissions intake. The starting salary is DYR Band 5.18 – £26,263 FTE per annum (£15,315 pro rata). The position is 25 hours per week, worked across five days (5 hours per day), with occasional flexibility required to support evening, weekend, overnight, and off-site admissions and marketing events, including Open Mornings and Private Tours.
