Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Bakery Manager to lead our bakery department at Gibson's Farm Shop. This role is vital in ensuring the bakery offers exceptional products that reflect our commitment to quality and community. Join us in delivering an outstanding shopping experience.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily bakery operations ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
- Manage bakery staff, providing leadership and training.
- Plan and develop bakery product offerings aligned with customer preferences.
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
- Monitor financial performance and optimize bakery profitability.
- Uphold the company’s values of supporting local producers and delivering excellence.
Qualifications
Proven supervising and team management experience within a bakery or food production environment.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in food preparation and culinary techniques.
- Ability to plan and organize effectively.
- Previous experience managing a bakery or similar department is preferred.
- Passion for quality food and customer service.
- Knowledge of local sourcing is a plus.
