Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our professional cleaning team. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various commercial premises. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional service. Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive environment.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, retail outlets, and industrial sites
Use specialised cleaning equipment and products to ensure hygienic and presentable environments
Maintain cleanliness of floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures according to company standards
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet roll as needed
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning activities
Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within allocated timeframes

Experience

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is advantageous but not mandatory
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is desirable
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Reliable with a professional attitude towards work and punctuality
