We are seeking an ambitious and self-motivated Part-Time Business Development Manager to help drive our continued growth through new customer acquisition and stockist development.
This role offers flexibility and would suit an experienced salesperson looking for a part-time position with genuine earning potential.
The Opportunity
This is a pure new business role focused on:
- Winning new customers
- Recruiting new stockists
- Building long-term revenue streams
- Expanding the Adams Gas network
This is not an account management role.
We are looking for someone who enjoys opening doors, building relationships and closing new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business sales opportunities across industrial, welding, engineering, hospitality and commercial sectors.
- Recruit and develop new Adams Gas stockists.
- Conduct customer visits and presentations.
- Convert customers from competitor suppliers.
- Maintain and develop a sales pipeline.
- Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial agreements.
- Represent Adams Gas professionally within the marketplace.
What We Are Looking ForEssential
- Proven track record in business development or field sales.
- Experience generating new business opportunities.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Experience within industrial gases, welding supplies, engineering products, industrial distribution or trade sales.
- Existing network of industrial or trade contacts.
- Experience developing distributor or stockist networks.
Hours & Flexibility
- 20 hours per week.

- £23,920.00 basic salary + commission
- Uncapped commission structure.

Performance Structure
Commission is based on new business revenue generated during each financial year.
The annual performance target resets at the beginning of each financial year and rewards consistent business development and growth.
