We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Operative to join our busy welding and fabrication workshop. The successful candidate will work within an engineering manufacturing environment, assisting with the preparation, finishing and handling of steel components prior to dispatch.
Duties will include:
- Using angle grinders and other workshop equipment to prepare fabricated components.
- Finishing and cleaning welded assemblies to required standards.
- Material handling and movement of components throughout the workshop.
- Strict adherence to all health & safety regulations is essential
Essential requirements:
- Previous experience within an engineering, manufacturing, fabrication or industrial environment.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn and strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely.
Full training and PPE will be provided.
Wage dependent on age and experience.
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
