Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong background in food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen operations to contribute to an exceptional dining experience. The Chef de Partie will work closely with the head chef and other kitchen staff to deliver outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to established recipes and standards
Oversee specific sections of the kitchen, such as grill, pastry, or sauces, ensuring smooth operation
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations
Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to optimise quality and efficiency
Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management to minimise waste
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy service periods
Train junior staff and apprentices, fostering a positive team environment
Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned regularly
Adhere strictly to health and safety policies at all times

Experience

Proven experience in a similar role within a reputable restaurant or hotel environment
Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
Experience working under pressure during peak service hours
Familiarity with various culinary styles and ingredients is desirable
Previous experience serving or working directly with customers is advantageous
