What does a Product Developer role mean at Prinova?
As a Product Developer, you will support a diverse portfolio including sports nutrition supplements, functional powders, nutritional premixes, energy drinks and ready-to-drink beverages. You will combine strong formulation expertise with project management skills to ensure products are developed efficiently, meet customer requirements and comply with relevant regulatory standards.

What to expect?
- Develop and deliver innovative sports nutrition products (RTM powders and functional concepts) from concept to launch
- Manage multiple development projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and customer requirements are met
- Design formulations considering ingredients, flavour, cost, manufacturing, and regulatory compliance
- Create, test, and approve prototypes, including shelf-life and performance optimisation
- Collaborate with customers, internal teams, and suppliers to drive successful product development
- Provide technical expertise and support across the business and to external partners
- Support scale-up, production trials, and troubleshooting as required
- Stay up to date with industry trends and contribute to innovation and new product ideas
Does this sound like you?
- Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Product Development, or a related discipline.
- 3-5 years’ experience in beverage formulation and product development, ideally with functional and sports nutrition focused drinks.
- Knowledge of functional ingredients, flavour systems, and sweeteners.
- Knowledge of UK food regulations and labelling requirements.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
