Happicabs Wickford – Now Recruiting Private Hire Taxi Drivers!

Launching February 2026 | Full-time & Part-time Opportunities

Happicabs – one of Essex’s leading private hire taxi companies – is expanding!
We are excited to announce the opening of our brand-new Wickford branch in February 2026, and we’re looking for motivated Owner Drivers and Company Drivers to join our fast-growing team.

Serving Wickford and surrounding areas including Billericay, Basildon , this is a fantastic opportunity to get in early and secure consistent, high-quality work.

Owner Drivers (Use your own car or rent one of ours):

Vehicle rental from £230 per week or bring your own licensed car.
Commission rate for Wickford: 20%
Full-time gross sales: £1,400 – £1,600 per week (before commission/car rental).
Part-time gross sales: £450 – £650 per week.
Guaranteed Earnings: Minimum £5,000 per month (gross) for full-time owner drivers.

Company Drivers (Happicabs vehicle provided):

Earn 50% of all sales generated.
No car costs, no hassle – just drive and earn.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £3,500.00-£6,500.00 per month
