Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Breakfast Chef to join our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of breakfast dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a dynamic environment, contributing to the overall guest experience.

Duties

Prepare and cook a range of breakfast items, including eggs, pancakes, pastries, and other hot and cold dishes
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area throughout shifts
Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure freshness and quality
Monitor stock levels and notify management of any shortages or required supplies
Serve breakfast dishes efficiently to guests, maintaining excellent customer service standards
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Experience in meal preparation, especially breakfast items, is highly desirable
Ability to handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Prior serving experience is advantageous but not essential; a friendly, professional attitude is essential for guest interactions

Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
