Are you passionate about business and preparing learners for success in the modern workplace? We are looking to appoint an inspiring Hourly Paid Lecturer in Business to join our forward-thinking and supportive team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional with a strong background in project management, governance, and policy to bring their expertise into the classroom and make a real impact on students’ futures.

About the role:

You will contribute to delivering high-quality teaching across our Business curriculum, with a particular focus on:

Management & Administration T Level programmes.

Using your industry experience and subject knowledge, you will help learners develop a strong understanding of organisational structures, governance frameworks, and effective project delivery, preparing them for progression into professional business environments.

What you’ll be doing:

Planning, delivering and assessing engaging, high-quality lessons.
Supporting students’ academic progress and personal development.
Providing constructive and timely feedback to support achievement.
Creating an inclusive and motivating learning environment.
Embedding employability, English and maths skills into teaching.
Supporting curriculum development and continuous improvement.
Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an outstanding learner experience.

What we’re looking for:

A strong background in project management, governance, or policy.
Experience within a business or professional environment.
Teaching or training experience (or willingness to work towards a teaching qualification).
Knowledge of T Level provision, particularly Management & Administration (desirable).
A relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A passion for supporting learners to achieve their full potential.

Any successful candidates will be required to complete a structured training pathway, unless they already hold the relevant qualifications. This includes a two-week teacher induction (must be completed within probation), followed by the Award in Education and Training (AET) including Assessor is required, and then the Level 5 Learning and Skills Teacher (LST) apprenticeship. Completition of this structured learning programme is expected within 3 years. Furthermore, there is the option to pursue Qualified Teacher Learning Status (QTLS).
