Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Scaffolder with HGV to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and dismantling scaffolding structures on various sites. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work at heights in a variety of environments. The position offers an opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic and professional team.

Duties

Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures according to safety standards and project specifications
Inspect scaffolding for stability and safety throughout the duration of use
Ensure all scaffolding components are correctly assembled using appropriate hand tools and power tools
Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters, roofers, and masons to facilitate construction activities
Follow health and safety regulations diligently to minimise risks on site
Maintain organisation of scaffolding materials and tools on-site
Assist with fabrication and customisation of scaffolding components as required
Conduct regular safety checks and report any issues or hazards immediately

Experience

Proven experience in scaffolding installation or related construction roles
Knowledge of carpentry, roofing, masonry, welding, plumbing, electrical work, or construction painting is advantageous
Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools used in scaffolding assembly and general construction tasks
Experience with fabrication processes is preferred but not essential
Ability to interpret technical drawings and safety instructions accurately
Prior experience working at heights with adherence to safety protocols is essential
