Full job description

We are looking for a Part Time Cleaning Operative to join our Reading team!

Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday
06:00am - 10:00am

Job Purpose

To maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the premises, including offices, desks, kitchens, toilets,

and other designated areas.

Key Responsibilities

● Clean and sanitise desks, workstations, and office areas.

● Clean and disinfect toilets, washrooms, and changing areas.

● Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and break areas, including appliances and surfaces.

● Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with site procedures.

● Sweep, mop, vacuum, and buff floors using appropriate equipment.

● Refill consumables (soap, paper towels, toilet rolls, etc.).

● Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are used safely and stored correctly.

● Report any maintenance issues, damage, or stock shortages to the supervisor.

● Follow all site security and health & safety procedures.

● Work flexibly to cover additional cleaning duties as required.

Skills & Experience

● Previous cleaning experience in an office or commercial environment (preferred).

● Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.

● Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

● Basic understanding of health & safety and COSHH regulations.

Additional Information

● Uniform and training provided.

● All equipment and materials are supplied on site.

Pay: £14.80 per hour

Work Location: In person
