Pay Rate: £37,805.39 + maximum bonus of £2,000 based on performance & attendance (spilt equally each quarter)
Grade: RCS P
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Customer: Tradeteam
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday - Days shift - start times from 4:30am/5:30am
Location: Reading - RG2 0BS

DHL, an award-winning leader in supply chain solutions, is looking for a HGV Class 2 Dray Driver to join our team. This is a customer-facing role with a great social element, perfect for someone who enjoys building relationships while delivering excellent service.

✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

Monday–Friday shift pattern with early starts (from 4:30am/5:30am)
2x Saturdays per year required as part of the role - all other Saturdays are paid as overtime (x1.5)
Delivering alcoholic products to pubs, restaurants, and hotels, mainly in and around the outskirts of London
Completing 10–12 drops per day (on average)
Managing manual handling of up to 11 tonnes of stock daily (handballing kegs of beer, etc)
Working with a drivers mate, 2 person lifts
Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

Must hold a valid HGV Class 2, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
Must have 6 months recent class 2 driving experience as this is essential
Happy to work with alcohol
