Full job description

Cabinet maker/manufacturer of MDF units required at Classic Carpentry. A successful, well established bespoke furniture and joinery business of over 30 years, based in Godalming, Surrey. This is a full time position paying a competitive hourly rate based on the successful candidate having a good level of previous experience.

Work will involve setting out, manufacturer and finishing of bespoke MDF kitchens, wardrobes, study’s etc. You’ll be based primarily in our fast paced and friendly workshop in Godalming. Occasional site fitting may be also required.

Ideal candidate must be fully competent with a high level of previous experience, whilst being able to adapt quickly into the role. Must be competent in operating workshop machinery.

Must be local to Godalming.

Good communication and a fluency in English essential. Your own hand tools will be required and you must be able to provide a clear working history.

Upon a successful 3 month probationary period, the position will be full time at 45 hours per week (7:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday). 21 days paid holiday plus bank holidays. Immediate start.

Salary: £15.00-£25.00 /hour dependant on experience.
