E-commerce Specialist
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented E-commerce Specialist to join our UK E-commerce team. This role combines hands-on Amazon order and marketplace operations with data analysis, commercial optimisation, and cross-functional project support across the UK and Europe.
The successful candidate will be responsible for selected areas from the responsibilities listed below. The exact scope of the role will be tailored and may evolve based on the individual's experience, strengths, and development, as well as the company's business priorities and operational needs.
This role is suitable for someone who is comfortable managing detailed operational tasks while also using data, automation, AI tools, and process improvement to increase efficiency and business performance.
Key Areas of Responsibility
1. Marketplace & Order Operations
Manage the daily processing, tracking, and updating of Amazon orders, ensuring order information is accurate, complete, and handled on time. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners on order fulfilment, routine operational documents, status updates, and other day-to-day requirements through Seller Central and/or Vendor Central.
2. Inventory, Fulfilment & Issue Resolution
Monitor stock availability, replenishment, fulfilment status, and delivery schedules. Follow up on order exceptions, delivery issues, invoice queries, disputes, chargebacks, and account health matters, ensuring actions and progress are clearly recorded and communicated.
3. Product Listings, Promotions & Launches
Support product listing creation, catalogue maintenance, content updates, compliance checks, and product information accuracy. Assist with the planning, setup, execution, tracking, and follow-up of Amazon promotions, seasonal campaigns, samples, and new product launches.
4. Data, Reporting & Business Optimisation
Maintain accurate operational records and analyse sales, traffic, conversion, advertising, inventory, and operational data. Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and trackers, identify risks and opportunities, and provide clear recommendations to improve performance.
5. Market, Content & Customer Experience
Monitor competitors, category trends, pricing, promotional activity, reviews, and marketplace performance. Work with marketing, advertising, and content teams to improve product presentation, keyword visibility, organic ranking, paid traffic coordination, and customer experience.
6. Process Improvement & Cross-functional Support
Maintain SOPs and operational documentation, support marketplace expansion and other e-commerce projects, and explore automation, AI tools, and process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency. Provide additional operational and administrative support as required by the business.
