Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Kitchen Sprayer to join our team. This role involves applying paint and specialised coatings to various surfaces, with a focus on kitchen environments. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality finishes, ensuring safety standards are met, and maintaining a clean and organised work area. Prior experience in construction painting and spraying techniques is preferred, along with good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion
Apply paint, varnish, or specialised coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
Ensure even coverage and finish quality in accordance with project specifications
Work on kitchen areas, ensuring all surfaces are properly coated and protected from overspray
Maintain safety standards by wearing appropriate protective gear and following health and safety protocols
Clean and maintain spray equipment and tools after use
Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress or issues
Follow instructions accurately to meet deadlines and quality expectations

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction painting or related trades
Knowledge of spray painting techniques specific to kitchens or similar environments
Valid driving licence is desirable for transportation between sites
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as part of a team
Organised approach to work with attention to detail
Good physical condition with the ability to work standing for extended periods and handle lifting tasks as required
