Administrator

Job Description

This is a great opportunity for an experienced administrator to join our busy Large Animal Office at Cholsey. The role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail and would suit an organised individual used to working in a fast paced and varied environment.

The aim of the role is to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Large Animal Office and support the Large Animal vet team and clients.

The role is full time, 37.5 hours per week.

Main Responsibilities

Answer the telephone- take accurate messages, take payments, register clients, book visits, take and prepare medicine orders.
Administer multiple email and WhatsApp inboxes.
Ensure TB tests are booked efficiently and UKFarmcare protocols and processes are followed and stocks of consumables maintained.
Assist in the production of the monthly Large Animal Accounts.
Participate in Large Animal Client Credit Control.
Resolve queries from colleagues and clients.
Maintain diaries and schedule appointments.
Arrange internal and external events.
Manage, store and file correspondence.
Ensure all lab fees are recorded and charged correctly.

Other Duties

Prepare reports and statistical data as required.
Send out monthly health plan reminders.
Manage projects as assigned.
Attend team and practice meetings as required.
Follow correct policies, protocols and procedures.
Provide a friendly, efficient and caring service to all clients and their animals.
Maintain the office as a clean and safe work environment.
Participate in training and development activities as required.
Be keen, enthusiastic, and willing to learn
