Unqualified Nursery Assistant – Reading, Berkshire

Pay: £12.71 - £13.00ph / Up to £28,730pa (DOE)

Hours: 4 or 5 days per week / 40–42.5 hours | Permanent / All Year Round

We are looking for a passionate and qualified Nursery Assistant to join our lovely Nursery in Reading. Our rural nursery is surrounded by meadows and forest school areas, offering children the chance to learn, explore, and thrive outdoors. If you love nature-based learning and child development, this is the perfect opportunity to grow your career in a nurturing and inspiring setting.

Please note a driver is required for this role due to their being no public transport to the setting.

Your Role

Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS
Plan and support engaging, child-led and outdoor activities
Promote children’s development and wellbeing

Build strong, positive relationships with parents and staff

What We’re Looking For

1-2 years previous employment working in a nursery or childcare role
Driver with access to own transport
Passion for outdoor, play-based learning
Reliable, caring, and enthusiastic personality
Right to work in the UK
