Location: Tees Valley
Salary: £15,434.32 per annum (yearly increments after Year 1). Once qualified, you can expect a salary of £40,894 per year, with opportunities to increase your earnings through overtime and on-call work.
This is an 54 month apprenticeship.

As an Apprentice Electrician, you’ll learn how to carry out electrical repairs, maintenance and installation work across our homes and buildings, building your skills step by step with support from your mentor and team.

What we’re looking for
You don’t need experience just the right attitude and motivation:
Interest in electrical work or construction/trades
Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Reliable, hardworking and positive attitude
Good teamwork and communication skills
You’ll have achieved or predicted to achieve a GCSE English Language and Maths at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent)
Must not already hold a qualification higher than Level 2 in Electrical Installation and Maintenance
Ability to travel to sites and college
Our apprenticeship opportunities are open to anyone aged 16 or over.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll be supported throughout your apprenticeship to:
Assist with electrical repairs and maintenance in our properties
Learn how to safely use tools and equipment
Support experienced electricians on site and gain practical experience
Complete basic tasks and gradually build your technical skills
Keep accurate records of your work and learning
Follow health and safety processes at all times
Take part in training, college learning and team activities
You’ll also learn how to provide a great service to our customers, treating their homes with care and respect.
