Full job description

About the Role

We’re looking for reliable and hardworking people to join our dispatch team at Hate My Phone Ltd, a busy technology recycling and refurbishment business based in Tyseley, Birmingham.

Our warehouse handles a high volume of phones, tablets and other technology every day, so this is a hands-on role where accuracy, speed and teamwork are important.

You don't need previous warehouse experience. We care more about your attitude, reliability and willingness to learn.

What You'll Be Doing

Preparing phones, tablets and other devices for dispatch
Cleaning and checking devices before they are packaged
Picking the correct items for customer orders
Packaging products safely and securely
Printing and applying postage labels
Helping process a high volume of daily orders
Moving and organising stock around the warehouse
Keeping your workstation clean and organised
Following company processes to ensure orders are dispatched correctly
Working as part of a team to meet daily dispatch targets

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

Reliable and punctual
Hardworking and willing to get stuck in
Comfortable working in a busy environment
Able to work accurately when handling large numbers of orders
Organised and able to follow instructions
Comfortable being on your feet for much of the working day
A good team player
Willing to learn new processes

Previous warehouse, packing or dispatch experience is useful but not essential. Full training will be provided.

Hours

This is a zero-hours contract, meaning hours can vary depending on business requirements and your availability.

We have opportunities for:

Part-time work
Full-time hours
Additional hours during busy periods

Typical working hours are during the daytime, Monday to Friday, although flexibility may be required depending on workload.
