Based within our state-of-the-art laboratory in Croydon, we utilise advanced digital workflows, CAD/CAM technologies, and modern manufacturing processes to produce high-quality dental restorations for both our own clinics and external dental practices.
As our laboratory continues to grow, we are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Digital & Ceramic Dental Technician to join our team on a flexible part-time basis.
The Role
This role is ideal for a technician with experience in both digital dentistry and ceramic restorations who is looking for flexible working arrangements while remaining involved in high-quality restorative and aesthetic cases.
You will work alongside our senior technicians and clinicians, supporting the design, manufacture, and finishing of a range of dental restorations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design restorations using CAD/CAM software such as Exocad or 3Shape
- Produce and finish ceramic restorations including crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays, and onlays
- Work with digital impressions, intraoral scans, and 3D printed models
- Assist with implant restorations and aesthetic cases
- Carry out staining, glazing, layering, and finishing of ceramic work
- Maintain high standards of quality control and accuracy
- Ensure compliance with GDC, MHRA, and UK Medical Device Regulations (MDR)
- Collaborate effectively with dentists and laboratory colleagues to achieve excellent clinical outcomes
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' UK dental laboratory experience
- Experience in ceramic restorations and aesthetic finishing
- Experience with digital dental workflows and CAD/CAM systems
- Good understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion, and restorative principles
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
- Strong communication and organisational skills
Desirable
- GDC registration as a Dental Technician
- Experience with Exocad and/or 3Shape
- Experience with implant restorations
- Experience working within a private dental laboratory environment
- Knowledge of 3D printing workflows
