Freelance Wedding Coordinator - Summer Cover

We're looking for a freelance Wedding Coordinator to join our team, bringing their energy and strategic skills to shape every unforgettable client journey.

Out Of The Ordinary Weddings is a creative, dynamic, and established event management company in Cornwall, known for delivering stylish and truly unique events. We're proud to be voted best wedding planners in the South West for the last 3 consecutive years.

Our mission is to redefine luxury event experiences, and we need an ambitious, highly motivated individual who is ready to grow with us. This is a role for someone who genuinely loves events, is naturally organised, great with people, and wants their work to make a real, measurable impact.

The Role:

This role will blend your creative vision with a sharp focus on successful, well-organised, and profitable events. You will take ownership of the planning process, ensuring every detail is flawless while keeping an eye on the bigger picture.

Client & Commercial Success: You will be an important part of our company's growth, using your natural communication skills to create/manage client relationships, drive booking conversions, and spot new opportunities. Your success will be seen in the excellent feedback and clear, positive outcomes you help create.
Operational Flow: You’ll approach event planning with an instinct for efficiency. We need someone who will consistently evaluate how we work—asking how we can be more organised, better, and more effective in our delivery.
Smart Problem Solving: You'll be the one to anticipate challenges, using your experience and quick thinking to implement solutions before issues ever arise.
Inspiring Direction: You will be a confident, clear, and professional presence, leading our on-site teams and working seamlessly with suppliers. You will be the point person, ensuring collaboration is effortless and delivers outstanding results.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a candidate with exceptional drive and motivation, someone who possesses a genuine passion to achieve ambitious goals. This role requires a growth-focused individual who views it as a significant opportunity to gain experience and make a real impact.

Minimum 2 years experience in a weddings and event management.

Pay: £12.50-£14.50 per hour
