Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the overall smooth operation of the kitchen. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong background in food preparation and culinary arts to develop their skills within a professional environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards, ensuring consistency and presentation.
Assist in the organisation and management of specific sections within the kitchen, such as fish, meat, or pastry.
Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to at all times.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences for guests.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, equipment, and storage areas.
Support in training junior staff and apprentices where required.
Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Good understanding of meal preparation techniques across various cuisines.
Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable.
