Location: Rodda’s Creamery, Scorrier
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 – 16:30
Type of Contract: Permanent Full Time.

Rodda’s is a family-run business which has been operating from our Creamery in Scorrier, Redruth, since 1890. We are the market leader in clotted cream and also produce bottled milk and butter.
We are proud of our heritage, our people, and our commitment to quality, and we are now looking to strengthen our leadership team with a Supply Chain Manager.
The Role
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for end-to-end supply chain performance across production planning, materials supply, warehousing and distribution within a fast-paced dairy manufacturing environment.
You will play a key leadership role in balancing product availability, service levels and cost, while driving continuous improvement across the supply chain function.
This role works closely with teams across operations, sales, procurement and finance and will act as the supply chain lead within the business.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead production planning in line with forecasts and capacity
- Manage inventory levels across raw materials, packaging and finished goods
- Oversee warehousing, stock control and distribution operations
- Manage third-party logistics providers and delivery performance
- Drive improvements in service levels, cost to serve and waste reduction
- Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process
- Ensure compliance with food safety, traceability and regulatory standards
- Manage supply chain risks and develop contingency planning
- Monitor and report on KPIs including OTIF and stock performance
- Lead, coach and develop planning and warehouse teams
- Contribute to business strategy and continuous improvement initiatives
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience in supply chain management within food manufacturing
- Strong understanding of chilled or short shelf-life supply chains
- Experience in demand planning and forecasting
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Commercial awareness and cost management experience
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience using ERP systems
- Ability to analyse data and drive performance improvements
Desirable:
- Degree or professional qualification in supply chain or logistics.
- Professional certification in relevant field
- Proven experience in continuous improvement within chilled supply chain.
