Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented CAP Debt Centre Manager to oversee debt recovery operations within our financial services division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounts payable, data entry, and telemarketing, with excellent analysis skills and proficiency in accounting software. This role offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic team, optimise debt collection processes, and contribute to the organisation’s financial health. The position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to delivering exceptional service with professionalism and integrity. Full Training will be given.

Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of the CAP Debt Centre, ensuring efficient debt recovery processes are followed.
Oversee accounts payable activities related to debt collection, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Conduct data entry to update debtor records, monitor account statuses, and generate reports for management review.
Analyse debtor data to identify trends, assess risk levels, and develop strategies for improved recovery rates.
Supervise a team of collection agents, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to optimise productivity.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies during all debt recovery activities.

Skills

Proven experience in accounts payable within a financial services environment.
Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
Analytical skills to interpret financial data and identify recovery opportunities.
Proficiency in accounting software programmes used for debt management and reporting.
Knowledge of the debt collection process and relevant regulatory requirements.
Organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently under pressure.
Effective communication skills suitable for liaising with clients, team members, and external agencies. This role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to advance their career within financial services while contributing positively to organisational success through effective debt management practices.
