PurpleCV is looking to hire a CV Writer to join our team of experienced writers.
As a CV Writer for PurpleCV, you will be responsible for writing and enhancing CVs and cover letters, optimising LinkedIn profiles, and creating other career-related documentation for clients across the UK.
This is a remote position, and applicants must be physically located in the United Kingdom. As a fully remote company, you will have the flexibility to control your own schedule and workload based on your availability and ability to complete orders in a timely manner.
We have high standards for our writers, and we want you to be able to meet our expectations. To be successful in this role, you should:
- Have excellent proficiency in written and verbal communication, time management, and computer literacy.
- Have one year of experience in CV writing or three or more years of experience in a related field such as professional writing, human resources, career services/consulting, or talent acquisition/recruiting.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, able to effectively liaise with clients throughout the CV writing process and collaborate with colleagues.
- Be highly self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to producing top-quality results.
- Have a thorough understanding of commission-based work, including the importance of providing high-quality work, timely communication, and follow-up to convert orders and ensure client satisfaction.
- Possess extensive experience in writing CVs, providing career consulting/coaching, and/or hiring/recruiting services. In-depth knowledge of best practices for CV writing and what hiring professionals look for in CV documents would also be a bonus.
- Be able to work independently and manage your time effectively, with a reliable internet connection and the skills to manage a remote role.
