We are seeking an experienced finance professional to provide acquisition review, financial oversight, and due diligence support across our transaction pipeline.
Role Overview
This role is offered as a fixed-term contract focused on supporting the successful completion of three acquisitions following a satisfactory probationary period.
The successful candidate will work directly with the Founder to review acquisition opportunities, assess financial information, support due diligence activities, and contribute to acquisition decision-making. The role requires the ability to clearly explain financial logic, assumptions, and conclusions, while sharing supporting spreadsheets, models, and analysis where appropriate.
The advisor will be expected to participate in calls, video meetings, and discussions with lenders, brokers, sellers, accountants, solicitors, and other professional advisors as required throughout the acquisition process.
This is a flexible consulting role, and meetings will be arranged collaboratively around existing commitments. The position is designed to accommodate professionals who may also hold other consulting, advisory, or executive roles alongside their engagement with Quantum Medix.
Key Responsibilities Acquisition Review
- Review Information Memorandums (IMs) for potential acquisition opportunities.
- Assess financial performance, risk factors, and valuation assumptions.
- Identify key commercial, operational, and financial risks.
- Provide recommendations regarding whether opportunities should progress to the next stage.
- Challenge assumptions and provide independent financial judgement.
Financial Analysis & Due Diligence
- Review financial models and acquisition assumptions.
- Challenge forecasts, EBITDA adjustments, and valuation methodologies.
- Support financial due diligence on selected transactions.
- Validate findings and identify areas requiring further investigation.
- Ensure acquisition assessments are commercially robust and lender-ready.
Transaction Support
- Provide financial input during acquisition discussions.
- Support lender, broker, solicitor, and advisor discussions where financial expertise is required.
- Assist with evaluating deal structures and funding scenarios.
- Help ensure transactions progress efficiently through to completion.
Technology & Process Development
- Work alongside Quantum Medix's internal fintech-enabled acquisition platform.
- Review financial outputs and acquisition assessments generated through internal processes.
- Provide practical feedback to improve modelling methodologies, acquisition workflows, and financial review frameworks.
- Support the continued development of scalable acquisition review processes.
Ideal Experience
MUST HAVE: M&A and due diligence experience
- Background in Corporate Finance, FinTech, Transaction Services, M&A Advisory, Banking, Accountancy, Financial Due Diligence, or Acquisition Finance.
- Experience reviewing acquisition opportunities and financial models.
- Strong commercial judgement and risk assessment capability.
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.
- Comfortable engaging with lenders, brokers, accountants, solicitors, and professional advisors.
- Experience within healthcare, dental, multi-site businesses, or acquisition environments is advantageous but not essential.

Compensation
- Success-based acquisition fee for completed transactions.
- Initial contract structured around the successful completion of three acquisitions.
- Opportunity for future engagements subject to performance, business requirements, and mutual agreement.
