Overview
We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Intern to join our dynamic team. This paid internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in social media management and public relations within a vibrant organisation. The successful candidate will support our digital marketing efforts by assisting in content creation, engagement, and brand promotion across various social media platforms. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about digital communication and eager to develop their skills in a professional setting.

Duties

Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies aligned with organisational goals
Create engaging content including posts, images, and videos for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and engagement opportunities
Support in managing online community interactions to foster positive relationships with followers
Track and analyse social media metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all digital channels
Support public relations initiatives by helping coordinate online campaigns and outreach activities
Stay updated on current social media trends and best practices to recommend innovative approaches

Qualifications

Currently studying or recent graduate in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field
Strong interest in social media management and digital communication
Excellent written communication skills with attention to detail
Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content ideas
Basic understanding of social media platforms and analytics tools
Prior experience or familiarity with public relations is desirable but not essential
Organised, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
