Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Consultant Lawyer to join our legal team on a profit-sharing basis. The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice, support negotiations, and contribute to the strategic growth of our organisation. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive legal professional to work flexibly while sharing in the success of the firm. The position is profit share and suitable for individuals looking to leverage their legal expertise in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Offer comprehensive legal advice across various practice areas, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
Lead and negotiate contractual agreements with clients, partners, and vendors to secure favourable terms.
Draft, review, and amend legal documents, including contracts, memoranda, and policy papers.
Support business development initiatives by providing strategic legal insights.
Collaborate with internal teams to identify potential legal risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting the organisation’s operations.
Participate in client consultations, representing the organisation’s interests effectively during negotiations.

Skills

Proven experience as a practising lawyer with a strong understanding of contract law and commercial negotiations. Must have sufficient experience in one of the following areas: Property, Immigration, Family, Commercial or Employment law.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all legal documentation.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
