The Role
We're expanding our network of exceptional Insight Interviewers who are passionate about understanding people and uncovering the stories behind customer experience. This is not simply interviewing - it's about creating meaningful conversations that generate insight.
At RealService, our interviewers are trusted conversation partners. They know how to build rapport quickly, listen with curiosity and uncover the insight that sits beneath the surface. You'll conduct in-depth qualitative interviews with everyone from frontline employees to senior executives across the commercial real estate sector.
Every conversation you have contributes directly to the recommendations we provide to our clients. You'll receive training in our interviewing methodology, digital platforms and quality standards before being matched to projects based on your experience, language skills and availability.
Key Responsibilities
Gather Insight
- Conduct customer insight interviews via telephone and Microsoft Teams
- Build trust and rapport with interviewees from diverse professional backgrounds
- Ask thoughtful follow-up questions that uncover meaningful customer insight.
- Navigate sensitive conversations with professionalism, empathy and impartiality.
- Adapt your interviewing style naturally to suit different personalities and situations.
Reporting
- Produce accurate interview notes and review AI-generated transcripts where required.
- Identify themes, patterns and notable customer feedback.
- Ensure interviews meet RealService quality standards.
- Protect confidential client information and follow GDPR requirements.
Embrace Modern Technology
We're continuously evolving how we conduct research. You'll be comfortable using:
- Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365
- Our bespoke project management system, Quest , and other research platforms
- AI-assisted transcription tools
- Digital interview recording software
- Cloud-based collaboration tools
- Scheduling and workflow platforms
- You don't need to know every system today—but you should enjoy learning new technology and be confident working in a digital-first environment.
Requirements - We are looking for someone who:
- Demonstrates experience, confidence and gravitas when speaking with senior professionals or business leaders.
- Is an exceptional listener who knows when to probe and when to pause.
- Has excellent judgement and attention to detail.
- Is naturally curious about people and behaviour - Builds rapport quickly with people from all backgrounds.
- Is articulate, empathetic and emotionally intelligent.
- Works independently and takes ownership.
- Represents RealService professionally.
- Is digitally confident and embraces new technology - experience using or willingness to learn digital research platforms and familiarity with AI-assisted transcription or productivity tools.
- Ideally, you'll also have: Previous qualitative interviewing, customer insight or market research experience.
- Understanding of Real Estate as an industry
Fluency in additional languages. We regularly deliver projects internationally and welcome applications from fluent speakers of additional languages, including (but not limited to): German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Polish, Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Greek, Croatian, Slovenian, Serbian, Turkish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese and Korean.
