We are currently seeking passionate and motivated individuals to join our team as Volunteer Fundraisers. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a tangible impact in the lives of those who are grieving while gaining valuable experience in fundraising, event planning, and community outreach.
Key Responsibilities
As a Volunteer Fundraiser, you will help Grief Matters Southwark secure the funding needed to continue providing vital support to our community and sustain the work of our charity. We are looking for someone with some experience or an interest in fundraising, grant applications, bid writing, or securing funding. If you have ideas for raising money and are happy to take the initiative, we'd love to hear from you.
Key responsibilities include:
- Research and identify potential grants and funding opportunities.
- Assist with preparing and submitting grant applications and funding bids.
- Help plan and support fundraising campaigns and community events.
- Build relationships with donors, sponsors, local businesses, and community partners.
- Help organise fundraising events and support event logistics.
- Keep records of fundraising activities and donations.
- Provide regular updates to the team on fundraising progress.
- Suggest new ideas and opportunities to help Grief Matters Southwark raise funds and increase donations.
Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for volunteers who possess the following skills and qualities:
