Job Introduction
Repton School and Repton Rackets Club are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced Tennis Coach to join our growing coaching team.
Repton school is recognized nationally for its competitive tennis success, with teams frequently progressing through regional stages and securing places in multiple LTA Schools National Finals each year, reflecting the strength and ambition of our performance pathway.
Having developed the Repton Rackets club program from the ground up, the club is experiencing continued growth across adult, junior and performance tennis. We have two indoor courts and nine outdoor courts that support year‑round training and competition. With brand new padel courts currently under construction, this is an exciting opportunity to join an ambitious and expanding racket sports program with top quality facilities.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality coaching across all ages and abilities, including:

Mini Red, Orange, and Green tennis

School teams and performance juniors
-
Beginner and intermediate adult groups
-
Adult 1st team and performance players
-
Individual coaching sessions
-
Support school fixtures, competitions, and performance pathways

Attend and coach teams at national tennis competitions
-
Contribute to the launch of the new padel program
-
Organize and manage group sessions, competitions, and fixtures
-
Complete administrative tasks related to program delivery and scheduling
-
Contribute positively to the culture and continued growth of the racket sports program

Help grow the Repton school tennis/Rackets club social media presence
About Repton School
Repton is the ancient capital of Mercia, and the School, founded in 1557 from a bequest from Sir John Port of Etwall, was established on the site of a 7th century Anglo-Saxon Benedictine abbey and latterly a 12th century Augustinian priory and the School today incorporates many of the original buildings from the estate.
The School has over one thousand pupils across the Prep and Senior School, making it large enough to achieve excellence in and out of the classroom, yet small enough for individuals to grow and succeed. Repton and Repton Prep have always enjoyed a very close relationship and in 2020, the schools became a through-school.
At Repton Senior, each pupil, whether day or boarding, is a member of a House. Academic standards are high and creative activities, including music, art, drama and design, flourish. The School has a national profile in sport, in particular in football, hockey, cricket and swimming. Repton was one of the first British schools to set up overseas schools with the establishment of Repton School Dubai in 2007, and the development of a community of international schools is key to Repton’s future vision.
