Job Description
To ensure all inbound material complies with purchase order requirements and meeting SHE quality standards. To help resolve shortages, damages or non-conformance of goods supplied.
To manage the location of materials and make materials available to production teams as needed. To accurately mark items with identification numbers and enter the items on the MRP system.
1 SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Inspection of all incoming material and maintain records.
· Inspect sub-supplier quality of workmanship of suppliers at site and travel to local suppliers to inspect good prior to their delivery.
· All calibration of instruments and gauges.
· Verification of certs and standards, maintain traceability and identification of materials
· Conduct dye penetration tests and write quality reports.
· Process material rejections and support purchasing raising issues with suppliers.
· Program engraver & make plates.
· Returns/warranty/Insp & root cause report
2 QUALIFICATION REQUIRED FOR THE JOB
Apprentice with work experience.
3 EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB
Minimum 5+ years experience in engineering and stock control background

Sign off goods inwards, indirect cost implications.

Data moderately complex, specs readily available, data available, small amount of analysis required.
7 ANALYTICAL REQUIREMENTS
· Reading 1st & 3rd angle drawings
· Knowledge of British Standards ASME etc
· Fault finding and root cause (daily)
· Good attention to detail and organised.
Certificates available, checking data against actual, logical analysis required.
Problem resolving required, either pass or fail and send back to area for
rectification.

· Hand to eye coordination
· Use of hand tools, power tools
· Use of specialist tools (Calibration)
· Electrical measurement
· Use of overhead cranes

Pay: £28,000.00-£31,000.00 per year
