RandCards is one of the UK’s largest trading card live-shopping and e-commerce businesses. We run live streams, sell trading cards online, and ship a high volume of customer orders every week. We’re growing quickly, and our evening operation now needs proper structure. This role is about making sure the building, stream support, and shipping operation runs properly during the late shift.
About the Role
We’re hiring an Evening Shipping Supervisor / Shift Lead to be the main responsible person on-site during our evening streams.
At the moment, this responsibility often falls to the founders/family team. That needs to change. We need someone dependable, organised, and hands-on who can lead the evening shipping operation while also getting stuck into the work themselves.
You’ll supervise the evening packers, support the streamers operationally, make sure orders are flowing properly, and keep the building running smoothly during the late shift.
This is not a sit-back management role. You’ll be packing, organising, solving problems, and setting the pace.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the evening shipping operation
- Supervise evening packers and keep work moving
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately
- Support streamers operationally during live streams
- Make sure stream-related orders flow into shipping correctly
- Keep the shipping area organised and tidy
- Handle basic issues during the shift and escalate when needed
- Complete handovers for the day team
- Assist with lock-up / end-of-shift checks
- Maintain high standards for accuracy, speed, and care
Requirements
- Reliable, organised, and calm under pressure
- Comfortable being responsible for a shift
- Hands-on - happy to pack orders, not just supervise
- Good attention to detail
- Able to lead people without making a drama out of it
- Confident working evenings
- Experience in warehouse, fulfilment, retail, shipping, or team lead roles would help
- Interest in trading cards / Pokémon is useful, but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
