Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and cooking, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations
Support the kitchen team in food production, including chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety regulations
Supervise junior team members when needed, providing guidance on food prep and kitchen procedures
Follow recipes, portion controls, and cooking techniques accurately to ensure consistency across all dishes
Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with chefs, servers, and other staff
Help monitor stock levels, assist with inventory checks, and ensure proper storage of ingredients

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a hospitality or restaurant setting
Demonstrated supervising experience or team management capabilities
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Excellent culinary skills with an eye for detail and presentation
