Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cluster Financial Controller to oversee financial operations across multiple locations within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting strategic decision-making through comprehensive financial management. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong accounting expertise to contribute to the organisation’s growth and stability. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with prior experience in financial control and management.

Responsibilities

Lead the preparation and analysis of financial statements for all clusters, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring invoices are processed efficiently and accurately.
Manage the utilisation of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms to maintain precise financial records.
Monitor cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic planning.
Ensure compliance with local regulations, internal policies, and audit requirements across all locations.
Collaborate with operational teams to optimise financial performance and implement cost-control measures.
Supervise finance staff within each location, providing guidance and training as necessary.
Prepare regular financial reports for senior management and stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits to uphold organisational integrity.

Qualifications

Proven experience in financial management or as a Financial Controller, preferably within a multi-location organisation.
Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms is essential.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and overall financial operations.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Demonstrated ability to analyse complex financial data and present insights clearly.
Relevant professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent are highly desirable.
Previous experience working within a regulated environment or in compliance-related roles is advantageous.

Pay: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
