About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and reliable Trainee Roller Shutter & Automatic Door Engineer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the industrial door and automatic entrance systems industry.
Full training will be provided, giving you the skills and knowledge required to install, service, maintain, and repair a wide range of roller shutters, industrial doors, and automatic door systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced engineers with installations, servicing, and repairs.
- Learn how to diagnose faults and carry out maintenance work.
- Travel to customer sites across the region.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
- Complete job reports and paperwork accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service at all times.
Requirements
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good practical and mechanical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence
- Basic electrical knowledge would be an advantage but is not required.

Role Details
- Monday - Friday (possibility of working weekends every now and then)
- Starting wage is £12-14ph depending on experience
- Weekend - £20ph
- Meal allowance during overnight stays
