Job Title: General Operative
Monday to Thursday - 8am to 5pm
Friday - 8am to 12pm
Vulcan the UK's number 1 leading manufacturer in Campervan products are looking for another member to join our team! We are expanding again, and are eager to find a hard working dedicated team member to join us in a busy manufacturing warehouse based on Maesbury Road Industrial Estate, in Oswestry.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of tasks in a busy manufacturing warehouse environment
- This is for a multi skilled position, must be able to assemble products
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be confident with operate hand / power tools
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with inventory management and stock control
- Pack and label products for shipment
- Conduct quality control checks on finished products
- Collaborate with team members to meet production targets
- Must be able to drive, and comfortable with driving large vehicles such as Luton vans and have a clean driving license. Due to our commercial vehicle insurance requirements, applicants must be aged 30 or over and hold a full, clean UK driving licence.
- Using a laser machine (training will be provided)
- Applicant will have to fit our beds into customers vehicles (training will be provided)
- Applicant needs to be a dedicated, hardworking member who is willing to learn new roles within their job role and work as a team player, must be multi skilled and complete tasks that need completing within targets.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects if necessary
- Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management
