Job description - Fabrication Sheet Metal Worker

Introduction

Are you a skilled and motivated individual with experience in sheet metal fabrication or a strong mechanical aptitude and a desire to develop your career in manufacturing? We are looking for a Fabrication Sheet Metal Worker to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, producing high-quality fabricated components and assemblies within a busy workshop environment. We value practical thinking, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship as part of a dedicated team.

Responsibilities

Fabricating and assembling products to required specifications.
Using hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment.
Reading and interpreting drawings and measurements.
Working safely and efficiently within a workshop environment.
Assisting with product development and manufacturing improvements.

Essential Skills and Experience

Previous fabrication experience preferred.
Strong mechanical understanding and practical skills.
Logical thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Able to work from drawings and instructions.
Good attention to detail.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.50-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
