Salary £25,949 per annum, Pro Rata I Permanent, Variable hours I Part time. 22.5 hours per week I St Hubert's Roman Catholic Primary School

International Sponsorship – this role is not open to international sponsorship

Unit Catering Supervisor (Grade 3) 22.5hrs per week

Lancashire County Council provide catering services to over 500 schools across Lancashire, serving over 60,000 school meals per day and we are looking for committed individuals to join the service.

You will lead and work as part of a team within St Hubert's Roman Catholic Primary School, producing fresh, high quality, healthy, balanced meals to school children each day. You must have previous experience in kitchens. With a proven track record in similar position.

Key responsibilities:

Cook and serve food and beverages in accordance with agreed menus and production plans.

Direct and/or supervise other employees.

Order supplies and store deliveries

Maintain records and stock control.

What we are looking for:

Recognised catering qualification and/or food hygiene certificate would be desirable.

Experience of catering for large numbers is also desirable.

Working Hours 22.5 per week, 4.5 hours per day. Monday – Friday, Term time only.

Plus, four cleaning days.

The post you are applying for is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013). This position is part time and term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent, the salary received will be paid on a pro – rata basis
