Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and organisation within our establishment, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for guests and staff alike. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and attention to detail. Prior experience in janitorial services, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is highly desirable. A background in cooking or customer service will be considered advantageous but is not essential. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment where professionalism and efficiency are paramount.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, public areas, and service spaces to the highest standards
Change bed linen, towels, and replenish amenities as required
Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used safely and stored appropriately
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Assist with organising linen supplies and stock levels
Provide excellent customer service by responding courteously to guest requests and inquiries
Follow health and safety regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

Previous experience in janitorial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is preferred
Basic cooking skills are advantageous but not mandatory
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Organised with excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends if necessary
Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
