Curtains by Max Buston creates bespoke curtains, Roman blinds and window furnishings for homes across London and Devon. We are looking for an organised and proactive individual to help coordinate the day-to-day running of our Richmond workshop and showroom.
This is a varied role combining administration, supplier coordination, customer communication and workshop support. You will work closely with our Head Curtain Maker, Laz Alam, and support the wider team to ensure projects move smoothly from order through to installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Checking and booking in fabrics, hardware and deliveries
- Updating project records and maintaining accurate information
- Preparing fabric and trim orders for approval
- Ordering workshop sundries and supplies
- Coordinating Richmond installations and fitting schedules
- Managing snagging and aftercare issues
- Liaising with customers regarding appointments and installation dates
- Sending project updates and milestone communications
- Supporting sample preparation for showrooms and customer presentations
- Maintaining workshop and showroom organisation
- Assisting with diary management and scheduling
- Supporting continuous improvement of systems and processes
What We Are Looking For
- Highly organised and detail-oriented
- Strong communication skills, especially on the telephone
- Comfortable speaking with customers, suppliers and tradespeople
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Practical and proactive
- Good IT skills
- Experience in interiors, property, hospitality, administration, project coordination or operations would be beneficial
