The Role

As a Junior Designer, you'll work closely with our Brand & Marketing team, supporting a wide range of creative projects across our hospitality brands. From being a part of a team developing brand identities to creating in venue POS, social media content, presentations and digital assets, you'll play an important role in bringing our brands to life. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their creative skills in a fast paced, collaborative environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

Design creative assets across print, digital and social media.
Support the development and rollout of brand identities across multiple hospitality brands.
Create marketing collateral including presentations, pitch decks, menus, flyers, posters and in venue POS.
Prepare artwork for both print and digital production.
Work collaboratively with designers, marketers and the wider business from concept through to final delivery.
Contribute ideas, mood boards and design research during creative development.
Ensure all work aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a high standard of quality.
Stay up to date with design trends, hospitality culture and emerging social media platforms.

Role Requirements

Around 1 year of design experience in house, agency or freelance (or a standout portfolio demonstrating equivalent capability).
Strong portfolio showcasing creative thinking, typography and layout skills.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.
Excellent typography, layout and visual communication skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Confidence working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Good understanding of preparing artwork for print and digital output.
Ability to communicate your creative thinking through mood boards, research and presentations.
A genuine passion for branding, design, hospitality and social media trends.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive, positive attitude.

Desirable Skills (not imperative)

Experience with WordPress or website content management systems.
Animation or motion graphics (After Effects).
Video editing skills.
Knowledge of Figma.
Photography, illustration or image retouching.
Interest in AI-powered creative tools and how they can support the design process.
