icap are seeking Therapists to join the clinical team, to be based in partner organisations in Coventry, Leeds, Luton and Newcastle.
Brief Person Specification:

- A recognised qualification in Psychotherapy (accreditation with BACP/ UKCP or a similar
recognised professional body)
- 5 years’ post-qualification experience as a psychotherapist (We welcome applications from candidates with fewer than 5 years who can evidence substantial, directly relevant work with clients similar to the icap client group)
- Familiarity with a wide range of psychotherapeutic modalities
- Experience working withing an organisational framework.
- An understanding of the issues facing Irish people living in Britain, intergenerational trauma and the long-term impacts of historical institutional abuse in an Irish context.
- Solid understanding of ethical practices and legal frameworks relating to therapy practice.
- Ability to access, utilise and update IT systems including CORE and Microsoft systems i.e. SharePoint, Excel and other similar programmes.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, engagement in regular supervision, and adherence to icap policies and procedure

Successful candidates will be required to:
- Provide therapy services to at least 3 icap clients weekly.
- Engage with icap organisational systems on a weekly basis to update attendance.
- Attend clinical supervision with an approved supervisor.
- Work closely with the icap Clinical Team so that issues of concern are recorded and communicated in a proactive and timely manner.
- Adhere to icap policies and procedures.
- Provide details of up-to-date DBS, accreditation, ICO registration and insurance.
