Client Accounting Assistant - Hexham

About Us

youngsRPS is a Northeast based firm with offices in Northumberland, Newcastle, Durham, and Yorkshire offering a wide range of services throughout the region. The origins of the company can be traced back to 1879 but over the years our business has continued to evolve, providing an honest, dynamic, and personal service to our customers, priding ourselves on our local knowledge.

About the role

This is a part-time permanent position, based in our busy Hexham office, dealing with client accounting. The role is varied and includes, but is not limited to the following duties: -

Bank reconciliations
Data entry onto our accounting software
Client reporting
Receiving cheques/cash and banking
Payment of bills
Administration of rent collection services
Raising invoices

Hours of Work
3 full days per week, Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday (9am – 5pm)

Salary

£25,000 - £28,000 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience

Holidays

25 days annual paid holiday plus bank holidays, pro rata

About you

You will be joining one of the leading, independent local firms of RICS and Commercial Surveyors, Land Agents, Estate Agents, and Development Consultants, and will deal with a wide variety of clients.

The ideal candidate will be a hardworking, enthusiastic team player, with at least two years’ experience in an accounting environment.

Client accounting experience would be preferable but not essential, as full training will be given.
