Overview

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of products, equipment, and facilities to verify adherence to safety and quality standards
Identify defects, non-conformities, or safety hazards and document findings accurately
Collaborate with production teams to address issues promptly and implement corrective actions
Review documentation, reports, and records to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Perform routine audits and inspections on scheduled intervals to maintain ongoing quality assurance
Assist in training staff on inspection procedures and safety protocols when needed
Maintain detailed records of inspections, findings, and corrective measures taken

Requirements

An Apprenticeship, HNC, BTEC, NVQ or equivalent qualification in a technical subject is required
Proven experience in inspection or quality assurance roles is preferred but not mandatory; a strong attention to detail is essential
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and regulatory standards clearly
Excellent observational skills combined with strong analytical thinking
Effective communication skills for reporting findings accurately and collaborating with team members
Excellent Manual Handling skills
Basic proficiency with computer software for recordkeeping and reporting purposes
A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality
