Location: Thornton Hall Country ParkSalary: £35,000–£40,000 per annum (dependent upon experience)

We’re looking for an exceptional individual to lead our farm operation—someone who understands both animals and people.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll be responsible for the welfare and management of our animals, leading a dedicated team, delivering educational experiences, improving systems and procedures, and helping shape the future direction of the farm.
You’ll spend time outdoors, working alongside your team, caring for animals, engaging with visitors, supporting school visits, and ensuring the highest standards across the park.

Key Responsibilities
- Leading and developing the farm and animal care teams.
- Ensuring outstanding standards of animal welfare and husbandry.
- Supporting daily farm operations and getting involved when required.
- Delivering engaging visitor experiences and educational activities.
- Leading school groups, educational visits, and animal talks.
- Improving operational systems and working practices.
- Managing staffing, rotas, training, and team performance.
- Working closely with senior leadership to support the continued growth of the business.
